Sega Dreamcast Console - The Dreamcast system is, in a word, awesome. Really, it inspires awe. The first time someone fires up the game Soul Calibur and realizes that the graphics and gameplay are better than the arcade version, they're likely to faint. And Sonic Adventure, with its lightspeed gameplay, is sure to wow even the most jaded gamer one part of the game consists of a richly detailed 3D racetrack suspended in the funnel of a raging tornado! With awesome games such as Marvel vs. Capcom on the way, this system is going to be a surefire hit and will revolutionize the console gaming world the same way that the Genesis did years ago before the marketing mistakes associated with the Sega Saturn tainted their name. But the arcade king is back in it's console glory and this system rules! ($199.95 @ Amazon.com)
Marvel vs. Capcom (Dreamcast) - Seven Marvel characters! Eight Capcom characters! Six Hidden characters! 22 support characters! One huge, pissed-off boss character Onslaught! Countless special moves, awesome air combos, full-screen spectacular Super moves and gameplay depth characteristic of a Capcom game where skill and fast reflexes are what makes you the best all make this game one of the best fighting games ever to hit the arcades, and now this arcade smash is here for the Dreamcast with no frame loss, almost no loading time, and a new 4-player mode!! However, you need a joystick to experience the game in all the excitement of the arcade and there are some awesome joypads for the Dreamcast. ($42.99 @ Amazon.com)
Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) - After several years in video game retirement, Sonic the Hedgehog returns as the star of a graphically stunning 3D adventure game that blows away every other game in the genre. Sonic is joined by five of his friends in a massive quest that spans over 50 game levels filled with remarkable visuals and a pulsating soundtrack. Taking full advantage of the unprecedented processing power of the Dreamcast, Sega's development crew, Sonic Team, has designed several gravity-defying game levels that will keep gamers hooked. ($49.95 @ Amazon.com)
Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) - This is a tale of souls and words, transcending the world and all its history, told for all eternity... The greatest weapons-based fighter returns, this time for Dreamcast. Elevation and positioning dramatically change fighting strategy. 10 classic characters plus two all-new characters. Stunning attention to detail - clothes ripple, head track opponents. After flying to Europe to investigate the disappearance of her brother Chris, Claire is abducted and taken to an isolated tropical island where some familiar rotting friends once again start popping up. Veronica features a significant break with previous titles in the series - all the backgrounds are now done in full polygons, allowing the camera to move, following the action and a first-person view. There are also possible environmental changes, such as collapsing ceilings or toppling pillars. Veronica also makes use of the special effects of the Dreamcast hardware, like dramatic lighting and shadow and characters with skin so you don't see the jagged polygon edges. Imagine the detail on that. ($49.99 @ Amazon.com)

The original Avengers are all here: Thor, Iron Man, Giant Man, Ant Man, the incredible Hulk, and the lone female, Wasp (a.k.a. wealthy fashion designer Janet van Dyne). The biggest, at 8 inches tall, is Giant Man, not surprisingly. Six ants--three each of red and black--are thrown in for good measure. Can the combined power of the Avengers defeat the sinister spells of Loki, god of evil? Start playing, and find out! ($24.99 @ Amazon.com)
