Having existed in this Universe since the dawn of time, Galactus' history is long, complicated, and beyond human comprehension. However, since the Silver Surfer loves the sound of his own voice, much of Galactus' history after the creation of his first (known) herald has been recorded. Also, memories of some of the worlds ravaged by the World Devourer are kept alive by the few survivors of those worlds.
