Did you know there was a Silver Surfer video game for the
Nintendo Entertainment System? It was developed by Software
Creations Ltd. and released by Arcadia Systems, Inc. in 1990.
The game is a shooter that alternates between horizontally
and vertically scrolling levels. Some of the game mechanics
are really off (such as the way the cosmically powered Silver
Surfer dies in the event of a low-velocity collision with a
fish, bat, or cave wall) and being an 8-bit video game, it's
not as pretty as newer games. However, it is interesting
and kinda fun, especially if you're into the retro console
systems. Galactus does make appearances in the game. This page
is here to save you the trouble of finding the game yourself
and playing through eighteen tedious levels just to see seven
shots of Galactus.
