Brothers,
I have spoken with Yoritomo, and he says he will support us.
The time to move is now, if we are ever to see our Lady again. There are few of us, but we have not forgotten how to fight- slaughter the Unicorn, steeds, and then see how fast they respond. The Lion move to the south, to make war on the defenseless Crab, and the Crane hide in their little palaces and cry of times long past.
Hide for now. Do not make your presence known. There are traitors among us, and eyes which see a different truth. Since the Lady Bayushi has left us, we have been charged with keeping the lands of our Clan safe... and preparing for our revenge,and the return of the Scorpion. Those preparations begin with our hidden alliance with the Mantis.
I have heard nothing from our Lady, nor her guard. The Scorpion who journeyed to the north have vanished, and we have found no trace of their passing. There lies only empty sand, and secrets.
