Scorpion Clan Letter - #21

A most distressing message has come into my possession. I confess, to my shame, that I do not know who delivered it or when, and that I am quite uncertain how to deal with its contents. That is why I have delivered this message to you, under guard of my most trusted courier, using your own private cipher.
The message read as follows:
"In the past we have been enemies; do not expect us to change. We have seen a greater enemy, a common enemy, at the heart of your clan. We shall aid you in exposing this Shadowed Tower to the pure light of jade. Do not stand in our way; we are allies in this."
There was no signature, but the symbol at the bottom of the letter is one that I have not seen in many years, not since my youth during the War Against the Shadow.
