Nezumi Letter - #3

Nezumi believe all things exist in Realm of Dream. Yesterdays, tomorrows, all have passed into dream and can be found by those who look-look. Even great Empire of Nezumi, now long lost in waking world, stand waiting to be found in Realm of Dream. Nezumi shamans wander Dream, looking for what Nezumi have lost.

Now shamans of the Crippled Bone believe we find-find something else.

Since tall-sharp-horn-beasts called Tsuno come to Rokugan, Horde appear anywhere, anytime, and even smart-smart samurai not know how. Terrible time, and much fear, and even mighty wall of our Crab friends fall to new Dark Lord.

Crippled Bone shamans turn to Transcendent, powerful spirits of enlightened Nezumi dwelling deep in Realm of Dream. Transcendent say Daigotsu not create Tsuno, but Tsuno exist long time before, longer even than Nezumi. Tsuno dwell in World of Slaughter, place where angry samurai go to die. Transcendent warn that Tsuno have magic like Nezumi magic. In places where power of nightmares is strong, Tsuno can pass between worlds.

Te'tik'kir believe that Tsuno come through Realm to appear behind Crab's big wall. Before attack, Crab slept in daytime afraid of attack at night. Fear bring nightmares. Nightmares bring Tsuno. Tsuno bring Daigotsu. Crab Wall falls.

Te'tik'kir fear what other secrets Tsuno have taught Daigotsu. Horde bad enough in one world. Not need them wandering all through Spirit Realms.

Good time to be much-much careful.

Te'tik'kir
