Four Winds rule Rokugan and the Void between them.
But to all things there must also come an end.
The true Empress has returned to Rokugan. Toturi Kaede, Oracle of the Void, true ruler of Rokugan, has returned from the Dragonlands to assume her rightful place. However she cannot remain for long, and can take the throne only long enough for a successor to be named. If this is to be done, the Celestial Heavens must be purged of Fu Leng's unholy presence. But Fu Leng's power is greater than it haa ever been, and none remain on Heaven or Earth strong enough to challenge his might.
The Four Winds gather, and seek out the only chance that remains.
They must destroy the Dark Kami's power at it's source, the Temple of the Ninth Kami. deep in the Shadowlands.
There the Dark Lord Diagotsu waits for them. He knows the Four Winds' power. He knows the fate that awaits him, and is prepared to accept it.
