Crab Clan Letter
My brothers,
The Emperor has challenged Iuchiban and his forces to face the assembled armies of the Great Clans on the field of battle outside Toshi Ranbo. He has requested but one unit of Crab soldiers to stand with him, as he knows the burden of our duty all too well. I will send him all that he asks, but it is unimportant, for I know that his challenge will not be answered.
I will not allow it to be answered.
Should Iuchiban and his forces raise their arms against the Emperor and march toward Toshi Ranbo, they will find a wall opposing them. Not a wall of stone, nor the steel forged by our Kaiu brothers, but an impassable barrier of strength, honor, and courage -- a wall forged each and every one of us. No army shall pass this wall. I shall die a thousand times before I permit that to happen.
